The latest release of wxWindows, plus library, sample and utility binaries for many platforms. This is the authoritive, and complete distribution of wxWindows.

wxWindows documentation

Documentation in multiple formats: HTML, WinHelp, word processor RTF, PostScript, wxHelp. HTML is used for navigating the CD-ROM contents, and the documentation can either be accessed direct from the CD-ROM or installed onto your hard disk. You can use your own browser or the simple HTML viewer provided.

wxWindows applications

A selection of users' wxWindows applications and development environments, including VCG Tool for tree and graph layout; Hardy, AIAI's meta-CASE tool; wxPresso; wxCLIPS; wxPython; MrEd; wxXLISP; wxWeb.

Source code library

A selection of source code for several languages, including C++, CLIPS, Python, and Scheme. The distribution contains the C++ class libraries ACE, Vibrant, V, VWCL, YACL.

Platform Independent Document Development

A selection of source code and tools for several markup languages, including SGML, HTML, TeX, RTF. Contains: A complete SGML authoring system--- including a graphical SGML editor for MS-Windows, AsTeX - a complete TeX distribution for multi-platform, high-quality technical documentation; SGML Validator and tools to convert between TeX and SGML.

A selection of source code and tools for distributed object development. Contains a selection of CORBA documentation.

Platform Indepedent Search and Retrivial

Clients, servers and toolkits for the NISO Z39.50 protocol... HTTP (WWW) Interface and WWW-Z39.50 gateway CGI application... Included is the complete NISO standards (draft) text as well as documentation on Z39.50 application profiles such as GILS (the Government Information Locator Service), WAIS and Digital Library.
